An evening of Champagne prestige and culinary refinement — for one night only.
Oborozuki is honoured to welcome Madame Nathalie Vranken, Owner and Global CEO of Vranken-Pommery, visiting from Reims, France to host an exclusive Champagne dinner celebrating the legacy of Maison Pommery.
Guests will enjoy a guided tasting of five exceptional cuvées, including the rare Cuvée Louise Parcelles 2005, paired with a four-course menu crafted by Head Chef Daeun Kang.
Each pairing has been thoughtfully designed to capture the elegance, depth, and character of these remarkable Champagnes.A rare opportunity to experience French heritage and Oborozuki’s contemporary finesse in perfect harmony.

For a more intimate experience, our Private Teppanyaki Rooms offer a personalised celebration. Master Teppanyaki Chef Felix Zheng will prepare an 8-course menu live before you, paired with curated wines and sake for the ultimate indulgence.

New Seasonal Menu
Chef Daeun Kang’s new Spring Menu brings together the best of Australia’s seasonal produce, reimagined through a refined Japanese and French lens.
This season is all about lightness and balance; letting fresh ingredients speak for themselves while adding subtle layers of flavour and texture.
Highlights include the Takikomi Rice with hijiki, abalone butter and sea urchin; Coral Trout paired with spanner crab and saffron bisque; and Côtelettes d’Aubergines, tender eggplant with tofu cream and umeboshi caramel.
To finish, the Purin with white strawberry and elderflower sorbet captures the freshness of the season.
Every dish reflects Chef Kang’s philosophy, letting exceptional local ingredients shine while weaving in the precision of Japanese technique and the richness of French tradition.A thoughtful expression of spring; light, elegant, and full of life.

Starting Wednesday, October 1st until October 18th.
This October, Oborozuki marks World Sake Day with a limited three-week celebration of Japan’s most refined sake traditions.
From the 1st to 18th October, guests can indulge in our Rotating Premium Sake Flight, featuring 30ml pours from three renowned Japanese breweries.
To elevate the experience, Head Chef Daeun Kang has crafted bespoke amuse-bouche pairings; delicate bites designed to complement and enhance the unique character of each sake to reflect the harmony between sake-making heritage and refined cuisine.

Our new Teppanyaki Spring Menu has arrived; a celebration of freshness, finesse, and the vibrant flavours of the season.
Discover delicate new creations — the tender Tasmanian White Asparagus paired with Jamón Ibérico, Mimolette and Parmesan; the Coral Trout with zucchini, Japanese eggplant and anchovy purée in a fragrant pipi sauce; and the Tasmanian Lobster elevated with our in-house tartare, basil pesto, kombu salt and artisan panko.
Each dish is a graceful expression of spring’s lightness and vitality — a Teppanyaki journey that celebrates renewal, balance, and the art of fine seasonal dining.

We are excited to announce that we have been awarded our first hat, receiving a glowing 15/20 review from the Sydney Morning Herald's Good Food.In his detailed review, Terry Durack praised Head Chef Daeun Kang’s new seasonal A La Carte menu, where the "fusion of French and Japanese cuisine plays out on every plate", noted that "her food is delicate, refined, and high in technique."
Special acclaim was also given to our sake and wine sommeliers for crafting a beautiful pairing experience and Felix Zheng for delivering special private Teppanayaki experiences.
